Deep golden color. Rich, malty nose. Medium to big body. Medium to strong in alcohol. Deliciously dry in palate with a softness that comes from long maturation (lagering). Traditionally, this style of beer is brewed and cellared in March, then lagered until the German beer festival in September-October, thus the name Marzen (March). Spectacular with roasted cicken, fish, sausage, and sauerkraut.
