WhistlePig The Boss Hog 5th Edition Spirit Of Mauve 13 year oldThis 5th. edition of The Boss Hog, The Spirit of Mauve, is a 13 Year Straight Rye Whiskey finished in Calvados Casks in honor of our celebrity pet pig, Mauve's undying love of apples. The result is extraordinary. A unique blend of sweet and spiced flavors with a fine balance between American power and French sophistication. There's nothing else like it. Nose: Mulled cider, cardamom, candied ginger and a touch of piper tobacco. Caramel, vanilla and gentle Rye spice develops with time in the glass. Palate: Maple syrup and pears are balanced by dark chocolate and French oak spice. With water, the spice moves front and center and a vibrant, fruit-forward character develops. Finish: Lasting spice and a touch of charred oak and caramel, maple syrup lingers as the finish fades.
Macallan Reflexion Single Malt Scotch WhiskyColour: Blood Orange. Nose: Orange and citrus fruits open up like fresh fruit on a sunny market day. Their zest is fresh, the fruit is firm. A slight waxy note fades to fresh green apples. Then the sweet stall: chocolate, thick fudge, boiled sweets, aniseed; caramel toffees almost overwhelm whilst white chocolate truffles are hidden. Just as you are ready to taste, a delivery of bananas in fresh, sweet oak arrives. Palate: Initial light citrus zest with new oak quickly gives way to a juicier sweetness, thick and succulent, of lemon and orange. Raisin, sultana and apple, with a hint of cinnamon and ginger, are subtle. Finish: Boiled sweets add balance to a glimpse of toasted oak to give a medium and soft finish.

Laws Whiskey House A.D. Laws Four Grain Straight Bourbon WhiskeyA four grain Bourbon must follow all the rules of a Bourbon, but it contains all three typical flavor grains that accentuate the corn base: barley, wheat and rye. To achieve such an uncommon expression of bourbon takes skill. These four "American mother grains" are painstakingly combined in exacting ratio in our cooker coming together to create a highly complex and flavorful whiskey. The results showcase the flavor of each grain without compromising balance. We slowly distill our four grain sour mash to coax out the delicate spirit. Whiskey with this level of character can only be made by hand. Again, no shortcuts. Yes, Four Grain Straight Bourbon is a more difficult whiskey to make, but it is well worth it.
WhistlePig Straight Rye Whiskey 10 year oldWhistlePig Straight Rye Whiskey is a 100 proof, 100 percent rye whiskey, aged for a minimum of ten years in oak barrels. The whiskey was discovered by Master Distiller Dave Pickerell, who spent over a year on an exhaustive search of North America for the best rye whiskey, and he believes that it embodies the perfect combination of proof, percent, and age -- hitting what he calls "the sweet spot" in all three categories. WhistlePig Straight Rye Whiskey is hand bottled at the WhistlePig Farm Distillery in Shoreham, Vermont.
Monkey Shoulder Blended Malt Scotch WhiskySome say it tastes just like riding bareback on the wild moors of Scotland with a flame haired maiden on Christmas morning. Others agree it tastes like 007 wearing a tuxedo wetsuit. If you haven't tried either yet but want a handy little cheat sheet to check out, here you go - but remember it's completely up to you, what you think it tastes like. Nose: Zesty Orange meets mellow vanilla, honey and spiced oak. Taste: Mellow vanilla with spicy hints. Finish: Super smooth.
Jack Daniel's Black Label Old No. 7 1.75LWe do things a little differently around here - and that's what gives Jack Daniel's its distinctive character. We charcoal mellow our whiskey drop by drop, then let it age in our own handcrafted barrels. And we don't follow a calendar. Our Tennessee Sippin' Whiskey is ready only when our tasters say it is. We use our senses, just like Jack Daniel himself did. In fact, more than a century later, our Tennessee Whiskey is still judged the same way. By the way it looks. By the way it smells. And, of course, by the way it tastes.
Sauza Hornitos Reposado 1.75LA fresh aroma of fruit and wood leads into complex yet perky flavors of sweet pear and spice, with a warm, oaky finish. Reposado's sophistication makes it perfect for drinking straight, but its spritzy zest also gives it limitless mixing possibilities.

Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky 1.75LWe believe Maker's Mark is the only bourbon distillery to use pure, iron-free limestone spring water exclusively, not city, well or river water. Our source is a 10-acre limestone spring-fed lake at the distillery. We are very choosy about selecting the grains that go into our whisky. First, we use yellow corn and red winter wheat from specially selected small farm cooperatives, all of which are located within the limestone geology near the distillery. This wheat gives our whisky its soft, mellow taste. And we only use naturally malted barley (that has no enzyme enhancing gibberellic acid). When our grain is delivered, we check it from top to bottom. If it does not meet our rigid standards the shipment is not accepted. And this really does happen from time to time. We are among the few remaining bourbon distillers that propagates its own yeast for fermentation with cultures that we can trace back to the pre-prohibition era. We also use the traditional sour mash method, similar to making sourdough bread, where we always leave over some culture from one batch to start another. Our rare cypress fermentation tanks are historically irreplaceable. Some of the planks are more than 100 years old. Cypress was chosen for fermentation before modern stainless steel was available because it didn't contribute iron or taste to the final product. While we don't believe that cypress affects the process in any way, we continue to use some of these fermenters to give our visitors a sense of how the process used to look. Maker's Mark is currently the only operating bourbon distillery to make whisky in batches of less than 19 barrels -- the traditional standard for small-batch whisky.

Balvenie DoubleWood Single Malt Scotch Whisky 12 year oldThe Balvenie DoubleWood is a 12 year old Single Malt which gains its Distinctive Character from being matured in two woods. During its period of maturation The Balvenie DoubleWood is transferred from a Traditional Oak whisky cask to a First Fill Spanish Oak Sherry cask. Each stage lends different qualities to the resulting single malt- the traditional casks, having previously held Bourbon, soften and add character, whilst the Sherry Wood brings depth and fullness of flavour. Nose: Sweet fruit and oloroso sherry notes, layered with honey and vanilla. Taste: A smooth and mellow single malt of beautifully combined flavours - nutty sweetness, cinnamon spiciness and a delicately proportioned layer of sherry - with a long and warming finish.
