Perrier Jouet Grand Brut
Wine SpectatorA backbone of steely acidity and the tight knit of this firm version mean that the notes of kiwifruit, elderflower, oyster shell and orange peel are more subtle today, though they may emerge with greater clarity after some short-term aging. Best after 2021. 25,000 cases imported.
Wine EnthusiastWith crisp acidity and layers of apple and citrus fruits, this attractive wine still has some of the higher dosage typical of this house. Together the fruits and the soft texture have produced a wine that is ready to drink.
Wine AdvocateCharming and extroverted, the latest release of the NV Grand Brut bursts with expressive aromas of warm biscuits, honeyed citrus and orchard fruit, followed by a medium to full-bodied, open-knit palate with ripe acids, a frothy mousse and a fleshy core of fruit, concluding with a clean, uncomplicated finish. More biscuity complexity will emerge with bottle age.
All sizes are 750mL unless otherwise noted.
